Does USCIS send RFE for both primary & dependent applications, if it is related to Employment?
Gurus, any advise.
If I understood your question right, are u asking about EVL RFE for both primary and dependent applicants?
I Don't think so. Logically even when the dependent works,the primary applicant's employer need to prove that they support GC process on that application.
They will not check for dependent EVL as it is not relevant in this case.
At the most they may verify dependent past non-immigrant visa status.

Can i know why you were called for personal interview. Is your I-485 Based on future Employment or did u have an Arrest record. If You have a record it might take a while to get your back ground check.

What is this reverse brain drain ? there is no such thing - folks who are here are going to hang on tooth & nail to stay here come hell or high water - the only ones who are going back are the ones who have no other option.
Or they have way more options than you or me!! Don't envy those guys who move around the world like free birds not thinking twice about leaving the green card process half way, and unlike us they probably will earn more after leaving US. Your post shows lots of frustration..... take it easy man!:D

What pissed people off, was your tone and disgust at the poor fellow and his qualifications, especially when you know little about his ability to carry out his job, or his background. In school, or on line -- he earned those degrees. Maybe he didn't have the financial resources to attend the best schools (I don�t know what is IGNOU). His employer has retained him, so perhaps he is good at what he does. He left his home, his family and traveled to some foreign shore to earn a living, not rob a bank. Show some respect. Thats a very good point , If they dont count the dependents in Family based category , why are they counting in Employment Based category . Again may be rules are different but we can defiently raise this question

I think this is a valid point. We should request from USCIS to treat the employment base category same as other category. I am not sure that USCIS could fix this by themselves or they need any legislation.
This will be a big relief for us and will fix our 50% backlog.

:)I have used AIG for my in-laws visit and didn't had to use it. Why can't we add them to our insurance as dependants? Did anyone tried this?
You cannot add parents to your insurannce specially if it is provided through your employer - the group insurance covers only nuclear family.
Using any India based insurance is extremely risky - I know a family that went through hell and finally paid $18000 to get urgent care for their mother when she developed some tremors - this was the first time she ever got those and the India guys said it is pre-existing and denied - later the doc in India found out it was a allergic response to the pollen in Vermont. How could that be pre existing ?
The other problem is with insurance recognition - most urgent care facilities do not recognize the India insurance or at the very least treat it with extreme skepticism - best is to use US insurance in case there are questions atleast you have a local 800 number for the hospital to call.
These are your parents and this is the US health care system - spend a few hundred more and be safe.

To raaj2007, just getting an EAD does not nullify your H1, but if you use EAD you loose H1. Go and check with your attorney. If you use EAD you cannot enter US using H1 or H4, you have to use Advance parole.

Folks, I took 100K coverage with I!M_G*G#L^O&B(A)L through the agent I*N*@S#U^B%u^y.
Unfortunately one week before my dad left, I had to take him to ER as he had an attack. The bills came out to 50K+, the insurance company denied all claims saying it is pre-existing.
The hospital and the doctor who attended him at ER as well as the hospital gave me a letter saying it is not pre-existing. But insurance company will not accept it.
The guy at the agent, talks nicely but he says we cannot do anything, just go in understanding with the hospital and pay it in installments. He also says do not file any law suit it is not useful.
All this is total scam, i did pay a huge premium but now i have lots of bills to pay.
So i agree with others, please do your research properly. And do not believe sales guys or agents, they will talk very nicely but when it comes to claims you are on your own...

AC21 doesn't contradict any law. AC21 memo is a real memo. It provides guidance for areas that are not clearly defined. So no point in comparing AC21 memo against the latest illegal memo by USCIS.

If you have issues watching it, try the below
Tools > Preferences > Connection > Network Transports
Check Manually Configure connection settings
Click on RTSP Settings, uncheck everything except "Attempt to use HTTP"
Do the similar for PNA Settings.
